What did you complete in this module?

In this module, I learned how to brainstorm by creating a mind map. Mind map practice has helped me learn more in a visual way. I think that’s a great way to analyze a persona and your mind. so it’s a great way to for self-assessment. I also learned that `Art making is dependent on doing; consistent action is the key to success. For me, Making art is just like anything else, it requires gifts, passions, dedication, and discipline.

What will you complete next module?

As for the next module, I hope I could find the direction for my final project for this class. I have some thoughts about it, hopefully, I can form that into a solid idea in the next module. And the mindmap practice definitely helped.

What issues did you run across?

I think the biggest challenge for me currently is how to make the best of my limited time, time is the most valuable thing on the earth. Making art or design takes tremendous time and energy, it’s hard work but it’s fulfilling at the same time. As for the class, I think the issue I’m having is that I am not able to connect with my classmates and instructor face to face since this is an online class. I miss the in-person experience when it comes to learning new things.

What is the feedback from your peers and/or instructor from this module?

I received some feedback from the instructor and my peers about some of my artwork from the fashion merchandising class. Overall, the feedback is positive. For instance, my instructor commented that she loves the color palette I made for the project.
